It may be hard to believe, but we’ve eaten at every Disney World restaurant, every snack stand, and every EPCOT festival booth!

Disney World
There are so many restaurants across the Disney World property that we absolutely LOVE, from the parks, to the resorts, to Disney Springs! That being said, we’ll be honest and admit that there are some places we just wouldn’t recommend. Then again…we do like to change our minds from time to time. There is one spot in Magic Kingdom we used to tell people to skip, but it is now a place we definitely think you should try!

We’re talking about Tony’s Town Square!

Tony’s Town Square
This restaurant is themed after Disney’s animated classic, Lady and the Tramp. It’s an adorably themed Italian restaurant, where you’ll find different pictures and nods to the iconic movie!

Tony’s Town Square
Ok, let’s address the elephant in the room — for years and years, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant has been considered as one of, if not the WORST, places to eat in Magic Kingdom. A little harsh, but it is true. It’s been called things like Disney’s Olive Garden or just way too salty. You’re probably thinking this is a terrible sales pitch, but bear with us.

Tony’s!
If you’re looking for decent Italian food and a nice, simple meal, then this restaurant could be a great choice — especially for pickier eaters! The menu is filled with wines, cocktails, desserts, and Italian dishes for adults and kids. Something we recently had and liked was the Chicken Parmigiana.

Chicken Parmigiana
The restaurant is filled with pasta options that really aren’t that bad. Will they blow you away? Probably not — but they aren’t bad! However, that’s not why we’re recommending this place to you. You NEED to come to this restaurant for one thing, and one thing only…

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
…THE BREAD OPTIONS!!!

Bread Service
So the meal does come with complimentary Bread Service, which had a slight crunch to it that we adored, but the middle was soft and fluffy. It was great! However, we’re talking about the bread options you order. More specifically, Tony’s Garlic Bread For The Table and the Fried Mozzarella.

Tony’s Garlic Bread For The Table!
Listen, this will change how you view garlic bread and mozzarella sticks forever! We would come to this restaurant for these ALONE!

YUMMM
The restaurant as a whole has certainly gotten much better than it used to be over the past few years. It’s obviously still not anywhere close to where we’d say it’s one of the best restaurants in the park. However, we absolutely LOVE Tony’s Garlic Bread and the mozz sticks. If you’re going to this restaurant, GET THEM! The garlic bread comes with Parmesan Fonduta that is HEAVENLY.

We may not have recommended it before, and we can’t believe we are now — but trust us, it is worth going to this place for those two items. For all things Disney, make sure to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog!

The last time I was in Tony’s was 2021, but since I have seen that you have to order the bread from the menu. Have they gone back to bringing out complimentary bread?
Way back in the beginning I used to love this restaurant. The calamari was great and the best of all was the dipping bread. First went the calamari and then the dipping bread. I quit going until a couple of years ago Paging Dr. Morrow claimed that the pasta dish they currently had was awesome. He said it was mild (it was not, it burned my mouth). I didn’t like it at all. It looks like it is gone from the menu already. While there I was telling the waitress how I used to love the restaurant when they had calamari and dipping bread. She said she couldn’t do anything about the calamari, but she would make up some dipping bread. That was the best part of the meal and we haven’t been back since. It’s a shame this is not a much better restaurant as it should be.
Please keep NOT coming, so we can keep getting our reservation. The place is so great. The people are so friendly and the food no matter what you order is hot and very very tasty .
My husband and I ate there last February and enjoyed the whole meal. Would recommend.
The food there is terrible!
Don’t waste your time or money!
I had eaten there once a long time ago and not only was the food bad but it gave me an upset stomach. I went back this year and I was very pleased. Tony’s has redeemed itself. I enjoyed my dinner and I will go back.
My Daughter and her friends had a reservation here for their Senior Trip. I tried not to skew her opinion, so I said nothing about my previous experiences. She and her friends had a great experience and loved the food. The kitchen made a small mistake with her meal that they corrected VERY quickly and gave her a free dessert that she shared with her friends. I will add this one back to my list.
