Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is finally here, and we can’t wait to celebrate!
We’re at the party allll night so we can tell you all about what to expect this year. We’re covering all the merchandise, entertainment, treats, and everything in between, but a lot of guests come to this party to meet some of their favorite rare characters. If you’re hoping to meet as many characters as you can, or just catch your ultimate favorite, here’s a full list of all the Disney characters you can meet at the party!
Main Street, U.S.A.
While you’re walking into the party on Main Street, U.S.A., you can say a quick hello to iconic Villain, Cruella de Vil! We absolutely loved our interaction with her — getting to have her naturally interact with guests on their way into the party truly made it feel so immersive. We’ve been hoping Disney would add more interactions like this instead of just meet and greets, and this feels like a great step in the right direction. NOTE: Cruella roates party introductions with Mother Gothel from Tangled, so keep your eyes out — you never know who you might see as the party commences!
You can also find Mother Gothel in the Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade, which runs twice per party night. She is a WICKED addition to the party!

Mother Gothel
At Main Street’s Town Square Theater, you can say hello to Jack Skellington and Sally! This line gets LONG each year, so you’ll want to allow tons of time to meet them! When we stopped by right around 6 PM, the line to meet them was 90 minutes long, and we had a feeling it would only get longer throughout the night.
If you’re a big fan of them, though, and meeting them is a high priority, we recommend getting in line as soon as you can when the park opens at 4 PM, going during parade times, or waiting until the tail end of the night.
However, those aren’t the only characters you can meet here — you can see Mickey and Minnie as well!
They also get some pretty high wait times, but not as high as Jack and Sally. Again, we recommend seeing them during the parades.
Tomorrowland
Love Stitch? We do too, so head on over to Tomorrowland to say hello to him, dressed in his amazing Elvis costume.
We don’t think it’s a party without saying hello to him, so he’s always on our list.
Fantasyland
Fantasyland is FULL of character meet and greets all over the land! You’ll be able to find:
- Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella (near Pinocchio Village Haus)
- Belle (near Enchanted Tales with Belle)
- Gaston (close to the backside of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train)
- Maleficent (Princess Fairytale Hall Queue)
Evil Queen (Princess Fairytale Hall Queue) - Prince Eric and Ariel (Under The Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid)
- Pluto (Outside Storybook Circus Tent)
- Daisy and Goofy (Pete’s Silly Sideshow)
- Friends from Alice in Wonderland (near Mad Tea Party)
- Winnie The Pooh Friends (near The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh)
- Donald Duck in his Halloween Costume (near Mickey’s PhilharMagic)
Frontierland
If you love Haunted Mansion as much as we do, then you can’t miss the Hitchhiking Ghosts! They appear on the Frontierland Balcony and the Diamond Horseshoe Stage (the location varies throughout the evening).
You’ll have to look up to see them — they’re extra ghostly in the moonlight! Oh, and look out for Romeo McGrowl by the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, too, along with Shaker, Wendell, and Big Al.
Adventureland
Over in Adventureland, don’t forget to say hey to Jack Sparrow, meeting guests outside to the right of Pirates of the Caribbean.
Near the Bazaar, you can also meet different friends from Aladdin, such as Aladdin himself, Jasmine, Abu, and Genie!
Liberty Square
If you head into the queue for the Haunted Mansion, you’ll find some of the beloved happy haunts from the ride — Madame Carlotta and Butler Broome. They hang out in the Haunted Mansion Graveyard, so be sure to pay them a visit!
