The new pirate-themed lounge in Disney World is set to continue the story from the iconic attraction Pirates of the Caribbean. It’s going to feature Galley Grub, specialty cocktails, and more in Adventureland. If you’re looking to dine with the pirates, you can soon make reservations at Disney’s newest dining spot!
Disney’s newest lounge, the Beak and Barrel, opens on August 29th, 2025. The Adventureland lounge is one we have been waiting for ever since it was announced at D23 in 2023. If you’re hoping to grab a tavern table, reservations have been DELAYED.

They were originally set to open on August 14th! But after hours and hours of refreshing, Disney posted an update that reservations would not be available on August 14th.
Disney now says that reservations will be available “the week of August 18th”! We’ll be watching for them and keep you posted!
Inside the lounge, you’ll meet a legendary pirate rumrunner named Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn. She’s the one who established this “lively pirate pub,” Along with Rummy, her first mate. He will be the tavern’s quartermaster and keep an eye on the lounge from a roost at the top.

I’ve been up on and off since midnight waiting for reservations to open. I waited 2 hours for someone to pick up on the phone for reservations and the nice cast member let me know that Disney world would be postponing the reservation opening date for Beak & Barrel that it probably won’t happen today she said.
