Several Orlando Restaurants have been shut down due to inspections.

7 different restaurants were forced to close from July 27th to August 2nd, according to data from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Two of the restaurants were less than 15 minutes from Walt Disney World.
If you like to explore Orlando when you head to Disney World, you need to read this! While many people like to stay in that Disney bubble during their entire trip, others like to stay off property and do things outside of the parks. (We love to pop into Celebration every now and then!)
Recently, several restaurants have closed around Orlando due to inspections. Two of these restaurants are close to Disney World, and if you’re someone who likes to try spots outside of the resort, this is something you need to know. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the first of the two spots is Latin Bistro Express.

This restaurant is located at 5770 W. Irlo Bronson Highway, #157-159 in Kissimmee. It was shut down on July 31st due to 22 inspector violations. Three of these violations were considered “high priorities,” including “raw chicken in boxes used to store spices, rodent activity, and an expired business license.” A second inspection happened on August 1st, where inspectors found 12 violations and issued an extension for the expired license.

The Peruvian restaurant has met inspection standards and is currently showing times online again. The second restaurant that was forced to close was Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. It’s located at #1132 at 5170 W. Irlo Bronson Highway in Kissimmee.

The restaurant was shut down on July 28th due to 11 violations. Two of those violations were high priorities, including “roach activity” and “dish machine chlorine sanitizer not being at the proper strength.” On July 29th, a second inspection took place, and inspectors found 4 violations. The restaurant “killed the roaches on site and has a work order for pest control.” After that, the restaurant met expectations.
