McDonald’s Is Serving Up the Nostalgia with NEW Happy Meal Toys

Calling all McDonald’s fans, but ESPECIALLY the adults out there who grew up on Happy Meals as a prominent source of joy.

Back in 2022, McDonald’s introduced Happy Meals and Happy Meal toys for adults, and they were a HUGE hit! It was called the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box and was perfect for those who loved the nostalgia behind Grimace, the Hamburglar, and Birdie. Now, there’s ANOTHER new adult Happy Meal on the way, but it’s got a twist!

According to AXIOS, Grimace, the Hamburglar, and Birdie are returning yet again for another adult Happy Meal later this month, but it’ll have a McDonaldland twist! It’ll launch on August 12th, and the meal will include your choice of a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries, and the new Mt. McDonaldland Shake.

What is the Mt. McDonaldland Shake, you ask? According to the company, it’s inspired by a volcano from McDonald’s fictional world. It’ll have a vibrant blue color with pink whipped cream and feature soft serve and berry flavors. It sounds pretty similar to the Grimace Shake that was part of the Grimace Birthday Meal in 2023, which totally took over social media for a few weeks!

That’s not all! Each Happy Meal will include one of six collectible tins, each themed to a different character of the McDonaldland crew. According to McDonald’s, the tins are also “packed with character-inspired postcards, stickers, and other nostalgic goodies.” Be sure to keep your eyes peeled, because there’s also a McDonald’s collection collaboration with Pacsun releasing on August 12th, and another with Away starting on August 18th.
