If you enter the springs via the Orange parking garage, you’ll find Disney has set up a podium staffed by a Cast Member who’s got one job — helping you find a table today. No need to wander around aimlessly, checking menus and wait times on your phone. This Cast Member can tell you exactly which restaurants have same-day availability and help you grab a spot fast.

Specifically, we spotted this new service next to the Planet Hollywood lounge and Wetzel’s Pretzels — basically the spot where the chaos of Disney Springs starts to unfold. And the best part? It’s clearly marked with signage, so you’re not going to miss it. Just walk up, ask what’s open, and boom — you’re on your way to a proper sit-down meal without needing a time machine to go back and make a reservation two months ago.

This is especially helpful if you’re trying to score a seat at one of the Disney Springs heavy-hitters. Restaurants like Wine Bar George, Raglan Road, and Homecomin’ are no joke when it comes to popularity. They book up fast. But same-day cancellations happen all the time — and unless you’re obsessively checking the app every 15 seconds, you can easily miss those openings. Silly. Cuz I’ve gone to DS, seen homecoming was full, went up to their podium, asked, and never had a wait longer than 10 min. Then again, I’ve learned to avoid peak dining times….
Been there 2 times this wk, didnt see a cm waiting either day.
