If you’re a big Spider-Man fan, we have a feeling you’ve probably been to Avengers Campus in Disneyland to meet Spidey, see him soar across the rooftops, and ride WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure (which is one of the best arm workouts EVER).

Okay, it’s us, and yes, we’ve done all those things. We’re also eagerly awaiting more updates about the NEXT Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Well, Sony just posted a teaser for the film today, which just happens to be Spider-Man Day, teasing something that’s going to be brand-new in the movie.

First of all, Happy Spider-Man Day to all who celebrate it. It’s a good day to fire up Disney+ and watch ALL those Spider-Man movies, right? Okay, so now, let’s take a look at the teaser Sony Pictures just shared today (reminder that Sony has the rights to Spider-Man’s movies, but partnered with Marvel, so at least this Spidey can be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe). Okay, so what does this mean?

Well, it’s pretty obvious that this is a close-up of Spider-Man’s suit, and it’s different from the previous suits Tom Holland has worn in the movies. So we’re guessing that the brand new thing is Spidey’s suit! However, it looks similar to the suit we saw at the end of the most recent Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home.

But that’s not the only detail Sony dropped. According to Variety, the movie studio also confirmed that Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, a.k.a. The Hulk, will be in the movie!

Sony also confirmed that Michael Mando will be reprising his role as the villain Scorpion for the film. Scorpion was last seen in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

But wait, there’s more! Sony also dropped a teaser for the film with Tom Holland IN THE NEW SUIT! Ready? YES, WE ARE!

Of course, we’re going to be waiting a while to get a good look at the movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which doesn’t release until July 31st, 2026. Yep, almost a whole year of waiting. Hopefully, a new trailer will drop soon.
