Believe it or not, the 2025 iteration of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is almost here… and some new “rules” are coming along with it!
I’ve been writing about Disney parks for half a decade, and during that time I’ve seen numerous changes come to Disney’s premier Halloween event. This year is no exception, leading to some new unofficial “rules” that will be key to having a hauntingly good time at this year’s Halloween bash.
Don’t Get Spooked By the Price
Let’s start with purchasing tickets. This year, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place on August 15th, 17th, 19th, 22nd, 24th, 26th and 29th, September 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st, 23rd, 25th, 26th, 28th and 30th, and October 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 28th, 30th and 31st. Depending which of those dates you’re going, party tickets may cost you more than 2024.
Tickets for the 2025 installment of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party range from $119 to $229, depending on the date. In comparison, 2024’s tickets ranged from $119 to $199, also depending on the date. Meaning that while the cheapest dates remained the same, the most in-demand dates increased by $30.
Hail the New Pumpkin King!
One of the highlights – and longest waits – of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party’s past has always been the meet & greet with Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. However, Disney has upped the ante this year, redesigning Jack to more closely resemble his image from the film.
Catch Mickey & Minnie Together
Speaking of meet & greets, this year’s party offers an opportunity that guest MUST take advantage of. For the first time ever, Mickey and Minnie will meet guests together in their new Halloween costumes!
Don’t Skip the Special Rides
While guests attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party may skip many of the available rides to instead spend their time trick-or-treating or experiencing exclusive entertainment like the Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular, and the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, it’s important to remember that three attractions will have special Halloween presentations during the event. Guests can:
- Experience Space Mountain in pitch-black darkness while listening to spooky tunes.
- Go for a spin at Mad Tea Party as special lighting effects provide a unique ambience.
- Get a kick out of fun jokes presented with a Halloween twist at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor.
If you’re heading to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, be sure to keep these new “rules” in mind to have a spooktacular time. Stay tuned to DFB for more updates on the party.
