Update as of 1:35 PM ET: Universal has issued a statement to WESH 2, confirming that the fire was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries. Universal said the following in a statement to WESH 2: “We’re grateful to the Orange County fire department for their swift response. Safety remains our top priority.”

According to WESH 2, two buses caught on fire near Epic Universe. Orange County Fire Rescue is on the scene.

Based on footage from WESH 2’s chopper, crews were still putting water on the buses to smother the flames, but the majority of the fire had been extinguished. 

It is currently unknown whether anyone was on the buses at the time of the fire or if there were any injuries. While the fire has been mostly contained, if you are driving in the area, you might want to avoid the area and plan for additional travel time. The buses were located in a lot just outside of Epic Universe.
