There is big restaurant news at Disney World right now, and I am ready to book a reservation and start reviewing some new menu items.
Bourbon Steak
Bourbon Steak, the newest restaurant to open at Disney, is set to open on July 26th, but they just dropped a huge surprise.
On July 24th and 25th, Bourbon Steak will have a soft opening before its grand opening on the 26th. That means if you didn’t snag a reservation for the first few days, you can head down and try it for yourself.

The restaurant is open from 5 PM to 11 PM, but please note that during the soft opening, the hours may differ slightly. During a soft opening, your dining experience may also be longer than usual as staff members become accustomed to new systems and chefs become familiar with the menu.
Booths
We got an early preview of the restaurant, and it’s gorgeous! The room is bright and welcoming, and we can’t wait to try the full menu.
During our preview, one of our favorites was the Prime Rib, which was covered in blue cheese and au jus. It had a zing from the blue cheese and horseradish, but it wasn’t too thick, and the ribeye felt like it was melting in your mouth!
Our samples
Bourbon Steak officially opens on July 26, and reservations can be made on OpenTable. It’s located in the Swan and Dolphin Resort, where Shula’s Steakhouse used to be. If you’re already staying at the resort, it might be worth checking out the restaurant tonight and tomorrow. It can also be a great dinner option for those in the EPCOT resort area or EPCOT itself.
