Reach out and find your Happily Ever After!
Is the best fireworks show to ever grace Magic Kingdom stuck in your head now? Perfect, because I know it’s stuck in my head. If going to watch Happily Ever After is on your Disney World itinerary, read this before heading to the castle.
On Sunday, August 31st, Happily Ever After is changing its time. It’s usually at 10 PM, but will be at 9:30 PM on August 31st.
The times for Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, the new nighttime parade that recently debuted at Magic Kingdom, have not yet been posted. However, the parade typically runs at 9 PM and 11 PM, so we’ll be monitoring the times to see how they’re affected on August 31st.
The park hours will be from 9 AM to 10 PM, so it will close a little bit earlier than usual. Keep this in mind if you’re planning a Magic Kingdom day.
On Monday, September 15th, the Happily Ever After show times are also being adjusted. The fireworks will start at 9 PM on that Monday, and, as Disney Starlight times are not currently available, we are unsure of the show’s exact start time.
Starting around September 1st, Magic Kingdom park hours will usually be from 9 AM to 10 PM, as they are on September 15th. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is also taking place from August 15th to October 31st, so keep in mind that during those party nights, the park will close early around 6 PM to accommodate the specialty ticketed event.
Disney Starlight and Happily Ever After will also not be running during party nights for both Mickey’s Not-So-Scary and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, so if you want the iconic firework moment, make sure you’re planning on your Magic Kingdom day to be different than a party night.
