We’re always trying out tips and tricks to make our Disney World vacation just a little bit easier. When you see this tip, you’ll likely tell yourself it won’t work, but hey, don’t knock it until you try it.
Do you wear a backpack in the parks? You likely have a big backpack with the whole family’s gear in it, and by the end of the day, your back is aching and SWEATY. Let us turn you on to something that can change your day.
Meet the VentaPak!
Simply slide this onto your backpack straps to add a bit of space and airflow between your back and the backpack. In the Florida heat, trust us, you’ll appreciate having some breathing room.
It’s lightweight and helps with our back pain, too. It helps distribute the weight more evenly along your back, and we were definitely less sweaty than usual.
We aren’t in love with how the Ventapack attaches to the backpack because the straps need to be very tight. Because of that, it’s a bit more snug in between the armpits, so while we aren’t sweating as much on the back, we are sweating under our arms.
Because we are always taking our bags on and off to hop on rides or eat snacks, it takes a minute to reposition them on our backs, which can be a bit annoying. Once we get it on, though, smooth sailing! It was worth the extra effort and time because when we were walking around or waiting in line with our bags.
When you’re carrying everyone’s rain gear, water bottles, souvenirs, extra snacks, and literally everything in between, anything we can do to help our backs, we’re going to do it. After using this in the parks the last few times, we do think this is a huge help with back pain and back sweat! Once you get used to the way it feels on, it really is a great essential for Disney World — especially in the summer!!
