It's OFFICIAL! Test Track Has REOPENED at EPCOT

Eek! We’ve been waiting over a year to say this: Test Track is officially open in EPCOT!

It closed in June 2024 to undergo a reimagining and become Test Track 3.0, and it’s now officially open for everyone to enjoy.

Test Track is not offering a virtual queue, so if you want to ride, all you need is a valid park pass and be prepared to wait in line. You can also purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the attraction, but these will sell out quickly.

Ready to load

The attraction also has a Single Rider line. We confirmed that Test Track’s single-rider line is indeed open today and is being used; however, Cast Members hesitated to provide an estimate on how long you can expect your wait to be. When we walked by the Single Rider entrance, we noticed those entering the line were actually able to step inside the building as opposed to the standby line that queued in multiple switchback lines outside. Considering the posted opening wait time was around 2 hours, it’s hard to tell if you could actually experience a shorter wait for such a popular opening attraction.

Keep in mind that this attraction also closes for inclement weather, so make sure to check your weather app before hopping in line. Since it recently underwent renovations, it may not be completely operational all day. Of course, we would love for the attraction to stay open all day every day, but while it’s getting used to running at full capacity, there might be some speed bumps.

Is it busy? Oh yeah! People are ready to sit in their car, buckle in, pull on the yellow tab, and speed through Test Track.

What’s changed? We received an early preview of the ride, allowing us to take in some of the details. It felt like a perfect combination of classic EPCOT with a futuristic feel.
