Something Has CHANGED Over at the Italy Pavilion in EPCOT!

Big news for EPCOT fans, but it may not seem like it at first glance!

EPCOT’s World Showcase

For months now, we’ve seen construction happening over in the Italy Pavilion on the main part of the pavilion that catches your eye — St Mark’s Campanile. We’re happy to report that construction is now complete and the walls are down!

For months now (since February, to be specific), the replica of St Mark’s Campanile has been behind walls and scaffolding that have been made to look like the icon.

Now, we know that scaffolding is finally down and the building is back in pristine condition! It’s unclear exactly why Disney had this closed for a months-long refurbishment, especially since no guests are allowed in this building, but hey, we won’t complain. It’s normal for Disney to refresh buildings from time to time. It looks great!

It’s back!

We’re happy to see this pavilion restored to its former beauty — now it looks even more stunning when you look at it from across the water.
