This summer is the first time in what feels like forever that you can visit Blizzard Beach AND Typhoon Lagoon!

For the past few years, only one water park has been open at a time, but this is the summer of water park fun, which ALSO means it’s the summer of water park snacks, and we’re SO here for it. We just heard about three new snacks that we had to try out, and all we have to say is don’t judge a snack by its cover photo — sometimes simple is the way to go.

At Typhoon Lagoon, you can grab the DOLE Whip Watermelon with Chamoy and Chili-Lime Spice from the Snack Shack for $7.29. This is DOLE Whip Watermelon topped off with Chamoy and Zesty Chili-Lime Spice, and we were VERY impressed!

This gave us Disneyland snack vibes in the best way, because it’s rare we get sweet and spicy DOLE Whip like this! This has more of an artificial candy watermelon taste to it, but pairing it with the chili-lime spice and the chamoy really elevates it. It’s got a low heat that certainly isn’t spicy — paired with the watermelon, it’s more sour instead of spicy. We’d 100% get it again!

You can also grab the Soft-serve Cookie Sandwich for $6.79 from Happy Landings Ice Cream at Typhoon Lagoon. This is Vanilla Soft-serve sandwiched between two Chocolate Chip Cookies and rolled in Rainbow Sprinkles.

Is it anything super special? No, but it’s a classic, and we think it’s well worth the price for the size it is. The cookies are soft and chewy with TONS of chocolate chips, and the ice cream paired with the rainbow sprinkles is a great texture. We’d choose it over a Mickey Premium Bar any day!

Meanwhile, over at Blizzard Beach, you can grab the S’mores Churro for $9.29 at I.C. Expeditions. This is Churro Pieces topped with Graham Cracker Crumbs, Marshmallow Whipped Cream, Chocolate Sauce, and Toasted Mini Marshmallows. We never thought we’d see loaded churros in a water park, but here we are!

The churros were the tiniest bit tougher than what we would have liked, but we’ll give it a pass since it’s something we’re used to in Disney World. The toasted marshmallows and chocolate drizzle are fantastic, especially because the toasted factor gives it that char flavor you get from roasting a s’more! This was way better than we expected it to be, and we think it’s easily shareable between two people (potentially three if you’re all looking for something light).

These were WAY better than we expected!
