Disney just shared a NEW look inside The Beak and Barrel! This brand-new lounge, themed to the classic Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, is coming to Adventureland in Magic Kingdom.
We have been eagerly awaiting more information about this new lounge, and now we are getting a chance to see inside The Beak and Barrel with some Disney Imagineers!
Walt Disney Imagineering just posted a SNEAK PEEK inside the lounge with a look at the Captains’ Booths and the Mapmaker’s Room. Montse takes us inside the Captains’ Quarters to get a first look at the booths. Each one of the booths were hand-carved and tell a different story about all the pirate lords.
Next up, Chris took us to one of her favorite spots at the lounge. Next to the main bar, you can see where the pirates fired cannonballs in order to get into the Mapmaker’s Room. The room had been locked, so pirates had to blast their way in! You can still spot cannonballs in the walls and debris from their entry. Finally, we got a look at the feature of the space, the backbar.
We have seen concept art for a few of the rooms in the lounge. We have gotten a look at the main dining room, or The Mess. As well as a look inside the Captains’ Quarters. The Instagram video gave us a look at the hand-carved booths that will be located in this room!
The Beak and Breel is expected to open in late 2025 and it will be a family-friendly lounge that will feature “tasty options for pirates of all ages — as well as refreshing cocktails for Guests ages 21 and up.” Disney has announced that guests will be limited to a 45-minute time limit when they are visiting The Beak and Barrel.

We are eager to see the menu, F&B, which we assume will feature seafood and rum, respectively.
I LOVE seeing so many women working at these construction sites!
Love the time limit, no one will be able to camp out there. Wish other lounges would have that, like Sam Grotto at the Polly. Once people are in there they don’t come out for hours.
Is the time limit 45 minutes after you sit down or 45 minutes after you’ve been served?
Hi Marie! The time limit is 45 minutes after you have been seated.
