Start training NOW — the 2026 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend is coming to Disney World from April 16th to April 20th. As you may know, the theme changes each year, and this year, the races are centered around Disney FRIENDS! We’re talking BFFs and iconic Disney duos; how exciting! Before you race to Disney World, you might want to take a look at all the races available, so come with us to see the FULL list of races (and race themes) for 2026.
Let’s start with the runDisney Springtime Surprise 5K (3.1 miles)! This race will take place on April 17th and stars none other than Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia. Look out for Nick and Judy throughout the race as you make your way across Disney World. You never know what fun surprise will await you!

Let’s kick things up a notch with the runDisney Springtime Surprise 10K (6.2 miles). This race will feature Winnie the Pooh and Tigger! Oh, and since Disney fans tend to sport character-inspired race outfits, Disney has noted, “If you’re bounding as Pooh, please wear pants.” Um, Disney? We have questions…

OK, moving on from the pants rule, we are up to the runDisney Springtime Surprise 10-Miler! Think you have what it takes to make it TEN MILES through Disney World? We believe in you — and all the emotions you may experience during the race. Speaking of emotions, this race will star Joy and Sadness!

For all you MAJOR race fans, Disney challenges you to the runDisney Springtime Surprise. Here, you must rack up a grand total of 19.3 miles by finishing ALL THREE races! If you complete the challenge, you’ll be awarded a fourth Challenge medal featuring Aladdin and Genie.
