Wait…do you hear that? It’s jingle bells in the distance? Santa’s coming!
Okay, okay, we know it’s going to be a LITTLE while before Santa is officially on his way to Disney World, but it’s never too early to start planning for those holiday trips, right? If you ARE planning to visit Disney World during the holiday season, we’ve got some BIG news for you? Disney just announced the dates for this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Holidays.
The 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays will be held from November 28th to December 30th, 2025. Disney has already confirmed several returning elements to the festival, including the holiday kitchens, also known as the food booths (our favorite part of the festival). We’re looking forward to eating ALL the holiday-inspired food from around the world.
The holiday cookie stroll will return this year, too. This is basically a hunt for cookies all over the festival…you can find a list of cookies in the official festival passport. All you have to do is buy five of those cookies and you get a matching stamp for each one. Collect five stamps and turn in your passport for a special prize.
Of course, the Candlelight Processional will also return this year. This is a very popular festival activity where you can see celebrity narrators tell the story of Christmas with live music and a choir. Previous narrators include Josh Gad, Brendan Fraser, Gloria Estefan, Neil Patrick Harris, and more.
You’ll also be able to see some special entertainment at many of the World Showcase Pavilions, including the Storytellers who will teach you all about holiday traditions and tales from their countries. Voices of Liberty will be appearing in the American Adventure in special Dickensian costumes singing Christmas carols.
You can even participate in a scavenger hunt, Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition, where you can purchase a special map and search for Olafs throughout the World Showcase. Once you find each Olaf, you’ll place a sticker on the corresponding location. Once you have all the stickers placed, you can turn in the map for a prize.
There’s so much to do at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays and we’ll be keeping you updated on everything, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
