You might have already started figuring out your budget, picking your hotel, and deciding on what tickets you need for your trip. Maybe you’ve even started looking at how you’re getting to Disney World, whether that be by driving or flying into Orlando International Airport. There is one thing you need to do, though, before you get ahead of yourself: be sure to buy your theme park tickets BEFORE October. We’re going to tell you why that’s so important.
So why should you buy your tickets before October? Well, traditionally, October is when Disney World starts raising prices on just about everything, including food, and yes, theme park tickets. In 2024, we saw that ticket prices for this year, 2025, would increase at that time. We’ve also seen hints that park tickets will also go up again in October 2026.

So that means if you’re planning a trip to Disney World and already know when you’re visiting and your dates are available for buying tickets, you should get buy them sooner, rather than later, to save some money. We’ll also suggest that if you’re visiting Disney World after October, plan for increases on things like food and drinks, too, as we traditionally get price increases across the board on those items during that month.

So, yes, once we hit the tenth month of the year, things just get more expensive, but if you’re prepared, buy those tickets before the price increases take effect, you’ll still be able to save a little money that you can put towards other vacation expenses, like food and souvenirs.
