Happy Fourth of July!
We’re coming to you live from Disney World where it’s not only summer, but is a big summer HOLIDAY that’s often extremely crowded in the parks. But how big are the crowds really? We’re here in Magic Kingdom to bring you all the latest updates so you know what to expect!
At the start of the day, we took a look at the crowds heading into the Transportation and Tickets Center and it was clear that the crowds are NOT what we expected. And by that, we mean, things were pretty chill at the
The Monorail line wasn’t long at all, and there weren’t as many people as you might think trying to hop on the Monorail to get to Magic Kingdom. This is WILD, y’all.
The lines at the gate weren’t even long, making us wonder where all the people are. It does NOT feel like a holiday right now. This was around noon.
Inside, Main Street, U.S.A., we saw what is essentially a normal busy day in Magic Kingdom, but this looks like normal weekend busy and not holiday weekend busy.
Adventureland wasn’t too wild either.
Ride wait times were lower than we expected, too. Jungle Cruise had a wait of 35 minutes, while Pirates of the Caribbean was at just 30 minutes. That’s it!
A little later, wait times had gone up a bit. Jungle Cruise was up to 45 minutes, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, as well as Space Mountain and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure had hour-long waits. Tron Lightcycle / Run had a wait of 90 minutes.
Now we are sure that once it gets closer to fireworks time, crowds will be VERY heavy in and around the Hub and Main Street. This show, Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky, only happens a few times a year, so people usually flock to this show. If you plan to grab a spot, we recommend getting one at least an HOUR before showtime.
