“Will They Be Including a Free Pepcid in Every Bag?” — Our First Reactions to McDonald’s NEWEST Menu Item

A NEW McDonald’s menu item is coming soon! We are suckers for a cute Happy Meal toy and a limited-time Shamrock Shake, and we may make more stops than we should by McDonald’s. What can we say, we are fans!

To say we are excited about the new menu item debuting at McDonald’s is a slight understatement. However, we’re really hoping they include a free Pepcid in each bag, because we have a feeling we’re going to need one! Maybe we should stock up in advance, just in case?

Now, the moment you have all been waiting for. Drum roll, please! Beginning July 8th, 2025, a new breakfast item is joining the McDonald’s lineup: the Spicy McMuffin Breakfast Sandwiches! Yep, yep, McDonald’s is bringing a bit of heat to your morning routine.

An important note, that as of right now, the Spicy McMuffin sandwiches are a “limited-time glow-up.” McDonald’s hasn’t said precisely how limited the time they are, so if you want to grab one, you’d better head over sooner rather than later. The base of the sandwich is staying the same, but each sandwich is getting a shot of McDonald’s signature Spicy Pepper Sauce.

Starting July 8th, you can grab the Spicy Egg McMuffin, the Spicy Sausage McMuffin, or the Spicy Sausage McMuffin with Egg. Now we have three more reasons to make a stop by McDonald’s! And three more reasons to always make sure we have a Pepcid with us.

McDonald’s also recently announced new Happy Meal Toys, and we are a bit obsessed with them. The new toys are MINI toys, and they are inspired by what you might see at a McDonald’s restaurant. There is everything from a mini cash register to tiny fries and a tiny Boo Bucket. We may or may not be trying to collect all 21…and if you see us taking team outings to McDonalds, no you didn’t.
