The United Airlines app just got some updates that will make your next trip 10x easier! We always recommend downloading your airline’s app before your trip, as it is usually full of helpful information.
Well, United Airlines added some upgrades, and now there are FOUR more reasons you need to download the United Airlines app for your next flight. Let’s take a look at the new features that have arrived to the United Airlines app!
We know traveling can be stressful, but we are loving these NEW updates to the United Airlines app! If you are traveling with United Airlines for your next Disney World or Disneyland trip, then you need to make sure you have the United app AND that you have updated it!
The app now features step-by-step directions between your gates if you are catching a connecting flight. No more deciphering directional signs, as the United Airlines app will take you through every step to get to your next flight.
The app will also provide you with real-time flight status updates. It will display how long you have to make your connection, how far the walk is, the current status of your connection, and more.
Plus, the app will even let you know if United can hold your plane if you have a tight connection. United will even message you if they are holding your connecting flight. That way, you know if you have a chance of making a tight connection!
Finally, the app will also provide some hub airport recommendations for your longer layovers. There is no better time than a long layover to do a bit of exploration, and now United is offering you some recommendations!
Not only did United Airlines make some great upgrades to its app, but the airline is also planning on upgrading the interior for its new Boeing 787-9 airplanes. These planes aim to “raise the standard of international premium travel among U.S. carriers.” The additions will include business class suites, the greatest number of total premium seats in United’s fleet, an Ossetra caviar amuse-bouche service, Starlink connectivity, and even larger 4K OLED seatback screens. The elevated interior will begin debuting in 2026.
