Summer is here and it’s hot and humid…and well, a little miserable, even in Disney World.
Jollywood Nights
So maybe we’re starting to think ahead to the holiday season, which not only includes cooler weather, but all the fun holiday decor, merchandise, and PARTIES. Now, we’ve been going to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom FOREVER, but a few years ago, Disney introduced a new holiday party in Disney’s Hollywood Studios known as Jollywood Nights. Well, Jollywood Nights is returning this year and one of the best parts of that party is returning with it.
Jollywood Nights is a special after hours ticketed event in Hollywood Studios that’s themed entirely around the holiday season. One of our favorite parts of the evening, though, is The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along. During the show, two Cast Members lead you on an adventure inspired by the movie. The show also features appearances by Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie. Meanwhile you’re encouraged to sing along with songs from the movie!

Well, Disney has confirmed that this show will be returning to Jollywood Nights this year. We previously saw an audition notice for general performers for Jollywood Nights, but we recently spotted a listing of shows Disney is looking to cast, including The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along, as well as Frozen Holiday Surprise, a show at Magic Kingdom.

So that’s confirmation that we’ll get to see the show again this year. Now, granted, Disney hasn’t officially confirmed anything for Jollywood Nights yet this year or offered dates or more details, but if the company is looking for performers for a show, that’s an indication that it’s happening.
