Why Disney Adults Are Suddenly Buying Movie Tickets for July 25th

We’re less than a month away from Marvel’s highly-anticipated blockbuster!

On July 25th, Marvel fans will get to experience the next instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Less than a month away from the movie, a brand-new trailer just dropped, and tickets are now on sale — it’s a good day to be a Marvel fan!

Marvel’s The Fantastic 4: First Steps focuses on the iconic family from Marvel Comics who unexpectedly gain powers from a failed space exploration and learn to become heroes. The story focuses on Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic (played by Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm a.k.a. Invisible Woman (played by Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm a.k.a. Human Torch (played by Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm a.k.a. The Thing (played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach).

This will be the first superhero family in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the hype behind the movie is growing rapidly. The FINAL trailer just dropped for the movie, and to say we’re excited would be an understatement. The footage provided us with additional glimpses of Shalla-Bal (played by Julia Garner), a female version of the Silver Surfer. We also got some teaser shots of the movie’s villain, Galactus (played by Ralph Ineson) — although we still aren’t getting a look at his face (you’ll have to watch the movie to get a good look).

The trailer also referenced a joke that The Thing should “say the thing.” True Marvel fans probably recognized they’re referencing an iconic catchphrase said by the Thing in the comics, “It’s clobberin’ time.” We’re hoping we’ll be hearing that in the movie; how could it not be featured?! Fans may have also recognized that we got more shots of Reed and Sue’s child, Franklin Richards. Franklin is one of the strongest characters in Marvel comics, so it’ll be interesting to see how he is used in the MCU!

The trailer also gave us a better look at some of the characters’ powers and referred to them by their hero names for the first time. With the movie being less than a month away, that means it’s time to get our tickets!
