Big news for fans of fine dining in Disney World!

Takumi-Tei is one of the fanciest restaurants in all of Disney World, especially when it comes to EPCOT. It’s home to some fantastic sushi options, but now there’s a special event happening that sake lovers can’t miss out on, and it’s happening for ONE day only!
If you’ll be in EPCOT on July 15th, 2025, you can experience the one-of-a-kind Hakkaisan Special Event, hosted by Takumi-tei and featuring Special Guest Mr. Timothy Sullivan. He’s the Founder of the Urban Sake Company and was awarded the “Sake Samurai” in 2007.

The event begins at 5:30 PM and takes place at Takumi-Tei. A park reservation (for non-date-based tickets) and an EPCOT ticket are required for entry to the event. The price of the event, though? It’ll cost you $300 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

To make a reservation, you’ll want to email [email protected] and let them know how many people in your group will be attending. In case you’ve never had it before, Sake is a Japanese alcoholic beverage made from fermented rice, and is sometimes called Japanese Rice Wine.
