While EPCOT is well known for its alcohol offerings, thanks to the popularity of “drinking around the world”, some of the park’s water holes are better known than others.
Many of EPCOT’s drink locations, like La Cava del Tequila in Mexico or the Rose and Crown Pub in U.K., are large parts of their pavilions; there are also some relatively “hidden” bars scattered throughout. These are some of our favorites!
Sake Bar
Japan’s Sake Bar, located in the upper level of the pavilion, between Teppan Edo and Shiki Sai, sells many of the same sakes and cocktails that the more visible Garden House sells… INCLUDING the ever-so-popular Violet Sake.
Also, if you’re unable to climb the stairs to reach it, there is a little elevator tucked away in the corner of this two-story building that you’re more than welcome to use to help you get up to the second floor!
German Wine Bar
If you walk into Weinkeller — over in the Germany Pavilion — too quickly, you might think it’s just a retail shop selling bottles of wine, chocolates, cookbooks, and other German-themed souvenirs. But if you take a closer look, you’ll spot a bar in the back of the shop where you can actually order wine by the glass.
If you’re in the mood for a little extra, you can sometimes pair your drink with an Artisanal Cheese Plate or try a Wine Flight, which lets you sample a few different offerings from the bar.
Sangria Bar
Tucked away deep into the Morocco Pavilion, you’ll find the Morocco Snack and Beverage Cart! This tiny and fairly unassuming little bar packs quite the punch… and by punch, we mean sangria! You’ll find both red and white sangria for sale here, as well as sangria for two. So you’ll pay one price but get two cups so you and a friend can go halfsies. The sangria itself is sweet without being overly so, and also has a bit of spice and tartness from the fruits that are also served in the cup.
Champagne Bar
The France Pavilion gives you ample drinking around the world choices, but a pretty underrated spot to grab a drink from this place is over at Le Vins de France!
You can find Le Vins de France across from the L’Artisan des Glaces ice cream shop. This bar looks more like a gift shop than a drink stop, which is why those who are drinking around the world might pass it over. But if you DON’T pass it over, you’ll not only find wine here that you can purchase by the glass OR by the bottle to take home with ya, BUT you can also choose from an array of champagne — including champagne flight options, too!
Some of EPCOT’s best bars are off the beaten path of the park’s World Showcase. Stay tuned to DFB for more on Disney World’s hidden gems.
