Did you know that you can score some SWEET birthday discounts? In fact, Southwest Airlines is celebrating its own birthday, and that means a NEW sale is happening now. CHEAP FLIGHT ALERT!

For a SUPER limited time, Southwest Airlines is offering flights as low as $39 one way. There are some important things to know about this sale, so before you hop on the deal, make sure you know all the rules and restrictions. We don’t want anyone crying on Southwest’s birthday, after all!

Now through June 19th, Southwest Airlines is offering a $39 birthday sale-ebration on one-way flights! Got a summer vacation planned, but still hunting for the best deal on airfare? This could be your chance to score a GREAT price!

Here’s what you need to know about the sale:

The travel window is pretty wide, with flights available as early as 21 days from now
Flights are available all across the continental United States, Hawaii, and San Juan, Puerto Rico
The sale applies to flights between August 5th and December 17th, 2025, or July 8th to October 1st if you’re booking a flight to Hawaii
Blackout dates do apply, so check the calendar carefully before you lock down those travel dates
Some one-way flights offer nonstop service

As a reminder, Southwest Airlines recently made some BIG service changes. The airline announced that only certain customers now receive free checked bags. Now, only Rapid Rewards A-List Preferred Members and Customers traveling on Business Select fares will receive two free checked bags. A-List Members and other select Customers will receive one free checked bag. Also, Southwest will credit one checked bag for Rapid Rewards Credit Card members.
