A popular ride is about to reopen in EPCOT!

EPCOT underwent some massive changes in 2024 with the opening of CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza. However, the changes didn’t stop there, as Disney World announced the reimagining of the super-popular Test Track ride and promptly closed it for a lengthy refurbishment back in June while teasing that the attraction would reopen sometime in 2025. Well, we’re happy to bring some good news — we finally have a reopening date!
Test Track was closed officially on June 17th, 2024, in order to incorporate new elements and a new overall design. A complete reimagining, this new version of Test Track is set to OFFICIALLY open on July 22nd, 2025!

The new version of Test Track has teased several new features, such as a queue with six exhibits celebrating vehicles and their makers and a new outdoor scene that celebrates technological advances.

We’ve also seen that the attraction’s exterior is jumping into the redesign trend, as it appears to be modeled after the original World of Motion that once occupied the space.

According to Disney, Test Track may be changing quite a bit, but the ride will still be sponsored by General Motors, honoring “today’s innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future.”
