There is nothing we love more than something getting easier, especially when it comes to travel. Who doesn’t love fewer stops, transfers, and tickets?
Europe is elevating its already stellar train system to the next level by adding new stops, making travel even more convenient.
According to Time Out London, within the next decade, a fleet of up to 50 new trains will be added to Eurostar. The project will cost approximately £1.7 billion, equivalent to around $2.3 billion.
New routes include direct routes from St Pancras to Germany and Switzerland. For these direct routes, Eurostar has not yet decided which stops, if any, the trains will make and whether passengers will be able to get off at other stops.
For this project, they will need to build more “passenger space at the stations, install new border checkpoints, and secure access to tracks.”
These new routes will also increase the existing Eurostar routes, especially the routes between London and Paris. There are discussions about increasing the 17 daily return frequencies to 20.
Why does that thrill us here at Disney Food Blog? All of these new routes sound like they will be easier to go to Disneyland Paris! You can extend your trip by going to other places in Europe as well as flying into more airports of your choosing.
We’ll be keeping an eye on this project as it progresses, so make sure you keep following DFB for more!

It would be good if they went back to the St Pancras straight to DLP route, instead of having to change to the RER in Paris.
