Disney World’s next festival, the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, is right around the corner, and August 28th can’t come fast enough!
This is often EPCOT’s most popular festival of the year, which means the largest crowds on opening and closing days, as well as on weekends. If you’re preparing to head to the festival this year, while we’re still waiting on lots of information to come out, based on what we do know, here are the changes you may want to prepare yourself to see!
CommuniCore Hall & CommuniCore Plaza
With each festival so far this year, we’ve seen Disney turn CommuniCore Hall into a new exhibit or experience for guests to enjoy during the festival. Currently, it’s themed as GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall for Cool Kid Summer, but we have a feeling it’ll undergo another transformation for this festival.
At least, that’s what we’re hoping to see! When guests first stepped into this space for the first time, they were a little disappointed in the area and called it a “college cafeteria,” but since then, we’ve seen what it can really become! Festival of the Arts had a fantastic exhibit for Disney on Broadway, and we thoroughly enjoyed the flower-based exhibit for the Flower and Garden Festival as well.
Therefore, you may want to expect this area to be closed for a little while before the festival officially begins so they can prepare, but you’ll likely have no issues exploring what CommuniCore Plaza has to offer outside! It’s also possible Disney keeps GoofyCore for a bit into the festival since Cool Kid Summer runs through September 1st, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
3 Booths CONFIRMED for the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival
Eat to The Beat Concert Series
While we know this popular offering is returning to the festival this year, Disney hasn’t announced exactly which artists will be performing at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series in 2025 just yet.
With that being said, we’re hoping (and expecting) to see some new artists on the list when it’s released! Some of these artists might be more well-known, and if that’s the case, and you want to ensure you’ll get a spot, you may want to look into the Dining Package. Packages are available for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and you’ll receive a voucher allowing you entry into the show of your choice later that day.

Seminars
With CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza ready to go, we’re really hoping we’ll see seminars return to this festival this year! Last year, as the area had just recently opened, we didn’t think it would be ready to host any (and we were right), but we’re hoping things are different this time around.
Disney has not announced that any of these are returning at this time, but in the past, we’ve seen Beverage Seminars for $19 a person, so we’re really crossing our fingers we’ll see them return this time around. In the past, they were located at the World ShowPlace Events Pavilion, but we’re assuming that, if they return, they’ll be held in/around the CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza area.

Living With The Land Lines
Each festival, Living With The Land gets a special overlay with fun themes that vary year-to-year and festival to festival. Because of that, we’re thinking that we’ll see some longer lines for this attraction during the festival, so everyone can see what’s new, especially right when the festival starts!
This ride also might have longer waits in the afternoons due to those good ‘ol afternoon summer thunderstorms, and since the Land Pavilion is all indoors. Just be prepared — we’ve run into it many times ourselves! As always, we’ll be in EPCOT on day one of the festival to share everything you need to know to prepare, so you won’t be going into your trip feeling lost.
