While there are literally hundreds of possible Disney souvenirs you can pick up at the Magic Kingdom, our favorite MAY be a way to immortalize your favorite four-legged friend for about $20!

Arribas refers to the silhouette as the 18th Century Selfie, writing that they are, “meticulously hand-cut by a skilled Walt Disney World artist. This unique keepsake, inspired by an 18th-century European art form, features your profile against your choice of a white or colored background, allowing you to own a piece of personalized artistry that blends tradition with the magic of Disney.”
While thousands of guests have had their silhouettes made over the years, the process isn’t ONLY for humans. In fact, we’d say that the best silhouette option isn’t human at all!
Silhouette Studio
For approximately $18, you can have a silhouette made of you’re beloved pet, be it a cat or a dog!
According to PlanDisney, pet silhouettes can be made at two Magic Kingdom locations: in Liberty Square by Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, and on Main Street near Uptown Jewelers. According to the site, both dogs and cats can be done, “if you bring clear photos showing a side profile, and you will hold up your phone so the artist can create the portrait,” and two pets can even be combined in one photo. On top of that, for roughly $13 more, you can even add a dance frame to your selection.

Didn’t realise they can do dogs. I’m going to get my 2 done when I’m next there. Never wanted me done, but I’d love them to immortalise my fur babies

These are the best and the artists are amazing! My mom and I each had silhouettes made of our dogs on our last trip. I just flipped thru my phone to find a couple profile shots for the artist and she was done in minutes!
I had one done of my Cavalier when I lost her. I didn’t want a big shrine to the dog in the house, but her silhouette is perfect. She had a funny bit of fur on her nose that stuck up. We called it her unicorn horn. You can see that little detail in the silhouette. I think for the price I got 2 silhouettes and added the black frame .
