If you’ve ever been to Disney World, chances are you’ve probably seen wish families from Give Kids The World Village visiting the parks, too. These children’s wishes are granted by the local non-profit, which is able to give these families an incredible week in Orlando to escape their everyday cares. We’ve recently learned of an event by a prominent brand featured around Disney World who is looking to give back, and we couldn’t wait to tell you about it.

If you’ve ever strolled your local Target, done some online shopping, or strolled the shops around Disney Springs, you’ve probably run across Kendra Scott. This fashionista’s collection extends from her designer jewelry line to handbags and travel accessories.

It’s not hard to see why so many people have fallen in love with Kendra Scott’s products, and now there’s a huge event going on today for an incredible cause. Today only, your shopping with Kendra Scott in stores and online will send a donation to Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, Florida.

GKTWV is a non-profit company that hosts children with critical illnesses and their families for week-long stays at their sprawling village grounds complete with food, transportation, on-site activities, and even multiple days’ worth of tickets to visit Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld. All of this is accomplished solely by donations, and this event could be one of the best ways to help them raise even more!

Here in Orlando, the Mall at Millenia will be hosting the in-person shopping event benefitting GKTWV from 5 to 7 PM today, May 30th. 20% of your purchases during these giveback hours will be given to Give Kids the World Village to continue their efforts of inspiring hope and joy for wish families.
