It’s construction season at Disney World! Just kidding, but there have been quite a few refurbishments lately.

From Magic Kingdom and EPCOT to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, plenty of rides and more are getting some TLC. Disney World hotels are getting some updates, as well. Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort have been busy with some construction to their pool area (which they share), but more construction is on the way for Yacht Club. Here’s what you need to know.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will be undergoing some additional maintenance soon. From early July through October 2025, the porte cochere will be closed. However, all services, including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation, will remain available, and you’ll still have access to most of the hotel’s amenities.

This is in addition to the Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck pool closures that are expected to last through June 2025. If you’re staying at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort during these times, you may hear construction during daytime hours, but you’ll have plenty of quiet for catching some zzz’s at night.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort will also be undergoing some exterior maintenance, which will start in June and last through September as well.

Disney also noted that the Disney Skyliner (the closest station is within walking distance at EPCOT’s International Gateway) will be closed from January 25th-31st, 2026, for refurbishment. During that time, bus transportation will be provided to hotel guests.
