It’s officially summer in Florida, which means the heat is here to stay! We’re trying to cool off the best way we know how — sweet treats!
We’ve been trying different ice creams, sorbets, and DOLE Whips around Disney World, and we’re adding a new snack to your “must-try” list.
The Outdoor Vending Cart by the Seas Pavilion might look like your typical snack cart, but we have some of our favorite treats here before running off to cool off inside The Seas aquarium in EPCOT.
We tried the Kakamora Delight for $6.75, which is a coconut-pineapple sorbet served in a coconut shell. If that doesn’t scream summer, we don’t know what does.
The sorbet has a strong pineapple flavor, with the majority of the coconut flavor coming through in the flakes on top. We loved the chunks of candied pineapple mixed into the sorbet, and it reminded us of DOLE Whip but with an icier texture.
The flakes on top brought in a slightly chewy texture and crunch, and there were enough that we could have some with every bite. Coconut lovers are going to adore this, but if you’re here for the pineapple, you might want to dig underneath for more sorbet.
When we first saw it in a coconut shell, we knew we had to get it because we were obsessed with the presentation, but we had no idea how convenient it would be to eat out of. It fit perfectly in our hands and was solid, so the sorbet didn’t leak all over our hands.
While we love our DOLE Whip and this snack definitely reminded us of it, it’s pretty challenging to find DOLE Whip in EPCOT, so we’re glad to have this sweet treat to give us the same flavors.
Summer is just starting, and there are a lot of snacks coming out that we’re ready to try. We’re bringing back all the details to you, so make sure you’re following Disney Food Blog to know what treats you need to try on your Disney World trip.
