We just got a TON of news about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party coming to Magic Kingdom this year, and there’s so much to unpack!

We’re thrilled to hear some of our favorites are returning, including the meet and greet with the one and only Jack Skellington and Sally. However, Disney released an interesting promo video that shocked us because…well…Jack looks DIFFERENT!

Before we show you the video, take a look at Jack Skellington from last year.

Jack and Sally both look fantastic, don’t get us wrong — the makeup takes our breath away every time! That photo is a little dark though — let’s look at one in the light to give you a better look.

We want you to pay specific attention to his head and his hands, okay? Now, take a look at the video Disney just released and let us know if you can see the difference, because we spotted it IMMEDIATELY.

Um, yeah, HELLO! That’s a FULL face of Jack Skellington that looks wildly similar to the actual animated film! And his hands are the same way — they don’t look like gloves (though we know they are) anymore, they look like actual skeleton hands and you can consider us flabbergasted. Let’s just take a closer look, because WOW.

Now we’re even MORE excited to meet Jack and Sally in person this year at the party! Their line is almost always quite long, so we recommend getting in line sooner rather than later OR waiting until closer to the end of the night if you want to be sure to catch them.
