Disney World just revealed some upcoming showtimes AND confirmed Lightning Lane access for one of its upcoming attractions!

The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure
We’ve been eagerly counting down the days until one of Disney World’s newest shows debuts at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While we’ve gotten a taste of some of the show elements we’ll see, and Disney also teased that never-before-seen characters are coming to the show, we now know a little bit more about when we should expect throughout the day!
We’re days away from a brand new show debuting at Disney World, and now we’ve got even more to be excited about! Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be home to The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure as it takes the stage on May 27th!

While we’ve known the day this show will debut in the park for a bit, we weren’t sure how often it would run each day. Disney World recently updated its My Disney Experience app and website to give us a hint of the timeframe we can expect performances to run each day. Currently, the posted information details performances will start at 9:15 AM and run through 7:15 PM each day.

It sounds like you’ll have multiple chances to see the show throughout the day, so you can plan your day accordingly. Additionally, Disney quietly confirmed that Lightning Lane access will be offered for this show, which may be something to consider as you’re making your selections for your day. It hasn’t been announced if the Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass system will accommodate the show, so stay tuned for more details.

The new show is a revamped version of the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, which hasn’t returned since 2020. We are expecting some big changes for this show, like Prince Eric getting a bigger role and “Kiss the Girl” becoming the largest number in the show. Previously, “Under the Sea” was the biggest number, so we’re excited to see the romance brought to the stage.

The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure isn’t the only new show coming to Hollywood Studios this summer! A brand-new Disney villains show called Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After is also set to take the stage, bringing your favorite Disney baddies to life so they can show you that they’ve actually just been misunderstood all this time.
Unfortunately, Disney hasn’t offered much more specific information about performance times than this for now, but we’ll be certain to keep a close eye on them. We’ll be bringing you along for all the fun when the show debuts. Be sure to stay tuned with us at Disney Food Blog for all the latest updates and more!

Gigi, can you explain the difference AND THE COST between THE SINGLE PASS AND THE MULTI PASS. Thanks
Hi Ron. Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to book multiple attractions in a single park for a daily price, while Lightning Lane Single Pass is for specific, popular attractions, requiring separate purchases. Multi Pass provides broader access, allowing you to book multiple rides within the day, while Single Pass focuses on a few, high-demand rides. Pricing fluctuates so I can not give you specific prices. That is something you will need to look at in the app when it’s time for you to purchase.
