Pack your bags because flying in Orlando is about to get even better!

Orlando International Airport
Orlando’s International Airport is changing thanks to a new terminal, new rules, and now, new flights! If you’re looking for budget flights, this new route might be for you.
The Orlando International Airport, also known as MCO, is growing! If you’re heading to Mexico City, MCO is getting a new flight headed that way. Viva Aerobus is adding a nonstop service flight to Felipe Ángeles International Airport on November 20th. This new route will make Orlando one of only 7 U.S. cities that the airport will provide service to.

The MCO carpet!
The budget airline already provides routes to Merida and Monterrey from MCO. This airline saw 46,871 passengers from MCO in 2024. The Director General of Felipe Ángeles International Airport expects this new route to boost tourism and growth at the airport.

Baggage claim at MCO!
According to the Orlando Business Journal, 6.13 million international visitors came to Orlando in 2023. While new tariff changes might have some concerned about international travel, other experts believe it could lead to a drop in flight prices.

In addition to this new flight route, there are also several new restaurants and shops heading to the airport. Restaurants like Brew Dog, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, and Otto’s High Drive, along with several others, will be added during a phased update of the airport.

Renovations are expected to begin in the middle of 2025 on terminals A and B. We can’t wait to see these new additions to the airport and to catch our next flight to Mexico. As always, be sure to keep following DFB for more travel news and updates.
