Swan and Dolphin Hotels

We’ve done all the important research, so trust us when we tell you that the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is home to some of the best dining on Disney World property — and beyond. And, an exciting new restaurant announcement was just revealed by this Disney World hotel!

Chef Devin Queen has officially been promoted to executive chef at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort! After joining the Swan and Dolphin as a sous chef at Shula’s Steak House, Queen was then promoted to the restaurant chef position. He also worked as the opening restaurant chef for Il Mulino at the hotel, and was later appointed as the Swan and Dolphin’s banquet chef.

Chef Queen started his career as a dishwasher at age 12 and trained at the Culinary Institute of America in New York, later working his way up to an executive chef position. He shared, “This is an enormous role where you want to succeed,” adding, “My goal is to succeed while staying grounded at the same time.”

This announcement comes shortly after the news that Shula’s Steak House will be permanently closing at this hotel. A new fine dining experience from celebrity Chef Michael Mina — called Bourbon Steak — will be taking its place.
