HURRY! You Can Score $39 Southwest Airlines Flights Right NOW

If you’re looking to go on vacation soon, you might want to consider Southwest Airlines!

If you’ve been following along with us, you’ve probably heard of the latest Southwest changes. The airline has had some major changes, like updating its “bags fly free” policy and changing its open seating initiative. Southwest is back in the headlines, but this time offering cheap flights for the summer!

Southwest Airlines is having a summer travel sale — You can buy one-way tickets for as low as $39! This is a huge savings opportunity for anyone looking to go on a summer vacation.

The only downside is you need to act FAST! The deal is here and gone very quickly, as you need to book a trip by Thursday, April 24th! The sale officially ends that day at 11:59 PM ET. The sale is valid for the following dates, depending on destination:

U.S. travel from May 13th to October 2nd
Hawaii, San Juan, and Puerto Rico from August 17th to October 2nd

Flights scheduled for September 1st are blacked out from the sale! Any ticket purchased through the sale is nonrefundable. Anyone looking to book should also be aware that seats and travel days are limited. Flights also need to be booked at least 21 days in advance to qualify for the summer sale. Southwest noted that travel in June and July is included in the sale.

Southwest might be trying to satisfy customers with these sales, in light of some of their controversial changes to ending their “bags fly free” policy. You’re going to have to start paying for your bags for any flights booked on or after May 28th, 2025. Unfortunately, that means it will fall in that summer travel window. Southwest’s open seating policy isn’t ending until early 2026, so that won’t impact the sale.
