Flying is no easy feat, and often the longer your flight is, the harder it is.
Between everyone on the team, we’ve flown for countless hours in many different increments — sometimes our flights are just under two hours, and other times we’ve been on flights that are so long they’ll feel like they’ll never end. We asked the team if there were any products that saved them on their recent flights, and boy did they have answers. If you’re flying soon, make sure you have these items with you if you’re hoping for a smoother trip!
Keep Your Legs Comfortable!
If you’re on a longer flight and are concerned about feeling restless, or you often aren’t comfortable with your legs being in a seated position for the whole flight, you’ll want to look into getting a Foot Hammock! These easily wrap around the seat in front of you without disrupting the person in that seat, and it makes your flight WAY more comfortable. If you’re on any flight that’s 4+ hours, we say this is a great investment!
If I Can’t See You, You Can’t See Me
An Eye Mask is another major accessory for many members of our team, solely because they don’t like the idea of opening their eyes and seeing if people are looking at them for some reason. Of course, this is also a fantastic way to make sure it’s dark for you if you’re trying to sleep, so if you know you’re planning to get some rest but know you need it dark, this is certainly a must-grab.
A Neck Pillow Doesn’t Solve ALL Your Issues
We love neck pillows as much as the next person, don’t get us wrong, but one of our team members also shared that on her recent flight, she wanted something fluffy to lay her head against in addition to her neck pillow. If you feel you’ll be the same way, we recommend grabbing the Dot&Dot Twist Memory Foam Travel Pillow to make sure you’re feeling comfortable the whole ride.
Our FAVORITE Plane Essential
Now, if you’re looking for a neck pillow that’s the best of the best, we can’t tell you how much we recommend the trtl Travel and Airplane Pillow. We’ve used this countless times and can’t get over just how comfortable it is. It’s adjustable to be most comfortable for you, and if you’re planning to get any amount of sleep on the plane, we can’t speak highly enough of it!
Block Out All Sound
Many members of our team said that using Noise-Cancelling Headphones is a necessity for them on their plane rides. For some, they said the sound of the plane is overstimulating and they need something to block it out and others love to pass the time by listening to music.
We’re always here to help you make sure you have the best trip possible, so stay tuned to DFB!
