JUST ANNOUNCED: Helios Grand Hotel at Universal’s Epic Universe Is Opening EARLY

We recently got a sneak peek at the new theme park, and we were blown away by the entire experience! Now Universal is getting us even more excited because the hotel connected to the theme park is opening early! We’re breaking it all down here.

Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you! Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel is opening early! This brand-new resort was originally meant to open alongside Epic Universe on May 22nd, 2025. However, Universal just announced the Loews Hotel will be accepting arrivals starting on April 16th.

The hotel is adjacent to the new theme park, with a bridge connecting the two to give guests staying there a more immersive experience. This hotel boasts 500 Mediterranean-style rooms with several dining spots like Flora Taverna, Aurora Market, and Lotus Lagoon.

We recently got to stay in the new hotel during our preview and were blown away! Even the hotel bar, Bar Helios, took our breath away.

This resort offers stunning views of Celestial Park. This part of the park serves as the heart and main hub of Epic Universe. Universal shared that this land “will be the gateway to explore the four additional worlds of Epic Universe,” and is naturally the first land guests will encounter at the new theme park after stepping through the entrance.”

According to Universal, “Celestial Park puts the ‘park’ back in ‘theme park.’ As soon as guests enter the imaginative world, they’ll embark on a journey of discovery, thrills, and excitement as they wander through lush living gardens nestled along shimmering waters surrounded by stunning architecture inspired by astronomical and mythological elements.” These are the gorgeous views you get when staying at Helios Grand.
