A Disney Cast Member Reveals the Secret Way To Get EXCLUSIVE Treatment at Art of Animation Hotel

There are a lot of reasons we love Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and we just found one more!

The theming of this resort is so fun, with large Disney characters — perfect for photos! The Big Blue Pool is one of the most popular pools on Disney property. The Skyliner goes to this resort, and you can walk to Disney’s Pop Century from it as well. If that wasn’t enough reasons to love staying at this resort, this little hidden gem we just found is just the cherry on top!

For this, you will want to head to the Ink & Paint Shop located next to the hotel’s lobby. When the store first opens, the Cast Members will choose one of the first guests of the day for a special surprise!

The selected guests get to draw a picture on a dry erase board, showing off their artistic abilities! The Cast Members then put it on display for the whole day and give the guests a certificate as a unique souvenir.

The board is typically displayed at the front of the store for everyone to see. This can be such a great memory to make with your family. Ink & Paint opens at 7 AM so you will want to get there bright and early for a chance to be selected.

If you are looking for other hidden gems, you won’t have to look far! Walk out of Ink and Paint towards the lobby and look up. You’ll find a chandieler of animation drawings and you can find one of Ursula from The Little Mermaid. Pat Carroll, who voices the sea witch in the film, signed this!
