Sure, it’s still spring, but you can’t blame us for looking forward to fall, can you?
Fall is AMAZING in Disney World. First, it marks the return of pumpkin spice everything. Then it also brings all the fun fall and Halloween decor to Magic Kingdom — and that decor is EPIC. It also brings Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the ONLY time of the year adults can dress up in costumes and go trick-or-treating INSIDE a Disney World park. Well, we’ve got some good news about this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party: the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular will be returning this year!
If you’re planning a trip to Disney World this fall, let our friends at Small World Vacations help you. They can do all that complicated planning stuff — leaving you to just count down the days until your trip. Best of all, it’s 100% free!
The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular brings the Sanderson Sisters to the Cinderella Castle stage where they conjure up a bevy of Disney villains to help them cast a specific spell. There’s singing, dancing, and lots of wickedness to go around. This show is VERY popular, so we’re sure a lot of you are excited about its return this year.
Disney recently posted an audition notice looking for a group of diverse dancers for the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. In particular, Disney is looking for dancers with “great jazz technique, who are proficient in multiple dance styles including commercial jazz, Fosse, and hip hop.” The notice also mentions that the dancers will be interacting with the Sanderson Sisters.
If you’re a dancer, this could be a great opportunity for you. However, if you’re just someone who wants to see the show this year, you’ll be wanting to keep an eye out for when we announce more details about this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. So stay tuned to DFB for more.
