The new sequel to Disney’s iconic Freaky Friday movie, Freakier Friday, just dropped, and OMG, you need to see this!

It feels like a flashback from 2003, but Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are back and ready to continue this freaky storyline.
Freakier Friday is in theaters on August 8th, and Disney just dropped the first trailer. Be prepared — it’s bringing back allllll the nostalgia! Watch below!
OK, did you watch it? We need to talk. First of all, WOW! We forgot how much we LOVE these two together in a movie.

Looks like Tess and Anna switch bodies again, just like in the original movie.

But here’s where things get interesting! It looks like the whole family is involved this time! We know the storyline takes place after Freaky Friday, but it looks like everyone has grown up, and we’ll be introduced to new characters along the way.

Disney also teased some iconic scenes that remind us of the original film, like the band scene from the first movie. She’s still got it!

We are SO excited about this movie, and we are going STRAIGHT to the theaters on August 8th to see it. We hope there’s a cool popcorn bucket to do along with it, too! We’re going to catch it at the AMC at Disney Springs for the full Disney experience.
After getting a trailer for Shrek 5, it only feels right that all of our favorites return to the screen years later!
