Back at last year’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, we learned that a NEW stage adaptation of The Greatest Showman was in development!

Disney didn’t share many details at first, and all these months later we still haven’t heard much about The Greatest Showman musical. But, now we officially know where and when this musical will premiere and who will be running the show!
It’s official! The Greatest Showman: The New Musical will premiere at the Bristol Hippodrome in the United Kingdom in Spring 2026!

The musical will feature the iconic songs by award-winning team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, including “The Greatest Show,” “A Million Dreams,” “Come Alive,” “Rewrite the Stars” and “This Is Me,” along with brand new songs written especially for the musical.
The show will be directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award-winning Casey Nicholaw, while Tim Federle is writing the book. Federle is best known for his work on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
According to the New York Times, the musical still does not have a cast, but auditions are being held in Britain and Ireland.
