When you’re planning a Disney World trip, there’s a lot to think about. First, you have to figure out your budget. Then you’ll need to figure out how long you’re going to stay and where you’ll stay. Of course, there are other important decisions to make like what to pack and where to eat.
But you also need to figure out HOW you’re getting to Disney World. For most, that means flying into Orlando International Airport. Now, it’s getting easier to fly into that airport every day as airlines continue to add nonstop flights. Spirit Airlines just added a new nonstop flight to Orlando International Airport from Columbia, South Carolina.
Need help planning the perfect Disney World trip? Let our friends at Small World Vacations help you out!
According to WTLX, Spirit Airlines has added a new nonstop flight from Columbia Metropolitan Airport in Columbia, South Carolina to Orlando International Airport. The airline has also added new nonstop flights to other destinations, including Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida.
To introduce these new flights, a new limited-time fare as low as $50 is being offered on one-way fairs with a 14-day advance purchase, valid for booking March 5th through March 20th for travel from June 5th to August 12th. Note that this special fare does not include Friday/Sunday travel and includes blackout dates from July 2nd to July 7th.
Of course, when you get to Orlando International Airport, you’ll also have to figure out how to get to Disney World. You have a few options, including renting a car, hiring a rideshare service, or using a shared shuttle service like Mears Connect.
In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney travel news, so stay tuned for more.
