Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a fan-favorite Value Resort.
Not only is it budget-friendly and uniquely themed, but it has access to the Skyliner! Pop Century may only have one dining option, but that is not always a bad thing. The Everything Pop Shopping & Dining food court serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there are tons of items on the menu. While the food is not bad, the real stars of the show are the snacks and desserts.
Now, we are willing to go to some crazy lengths to be able to get a snack that we love. Even if that means parking at Hollywood Studios, taking the Skyliner to Caribbean Beach, and then getting back on the Skyliner to get to Pop Century.
So, what snack is worth going the distance for? Let us introduce you to the PB&J Croissant. Not only is this snack pretty, but it is delicious! You can get it for just $5.99, and it is a pretty decent-sized portion!
As you can probably guess, this croissant is a take on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Half of the croissant is dusted with powdered sugar, and the other half has a bright berry-colored frosting and is topped with dried berries. Sadly, the frosting is more just for looks as it does not add anything to the flavor (besides a mess!).
Now here is where it gets good: the croissant is stuffed with peanut butter and jelly, stuffed enough that you need a fork and knife to enjoy it. Grape jelly fans, be warned! This treat features strawberry jelly. Besides the mess, this is one of the best versions of PB&J that we have ever had. It is similar to an Uncrustable, only it is better!
We love that the peanut butter is a bit sweet and whipped. It kinda of reminds us of a peanut butter pie. Although this is just a snack, it could work for breakfast or lunch! Hey, we have been guilty of having a Mickey pretzel for lunch, so trust us, no one will judge you if you choose a croissant to be your meal! As we mentioned before, it is a decent size, making it big enough to share and a solid deal for the price!
