Descendants fans, rise up because Descendants 5 is officially in the works!
The fifth Descendants movie will take place shortly after the fourth movie, Descendants: The Rise of Red. The new film will explore what happily ever after means for Red and Chloe after their time-traveling adventures.

This movie will be set in present-day Wonderland from Alice in Wonderland, bringing in new characters and stories. Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker will continue their roles as Princess Red and Princess Chloe, while we are also introduced to new faces like Red’s Sister, Pink, Max Hatter, Luis Madrigal, and Hazel Hook.

Executive producers Suzanne Todd and Gary Marsh are returning to the new film. Dan Frey and Ru Sommer, who wrote Descendants: The Rise of Red, will also write the script for Descendants 5. Emmy-winning choreographer Emilio Dosal, who worked on Wicked, will also work on Descendants 5, which will feature brand-new music and dance scenes!
The Descendants movies, available on Disney+, continue the Disney universe by telling the stories of Disney heroes and villains’ children. From characters like Maleficent’s daughter and Belle and Beast’s son, the movies show what life looks like for these characters after their original movies end.
Descendants 5 will be available on Disney+ and Disney Channel.
