Pixar has created some of the most beloved movies and characters of ALL time, which is why we are still celebrating Pixar characters to this day in Disney parks.
Over at Disneyland Resort, Disney California Adventure has a WHOLE Pixar Pier area that includes San Fransokyo Square, dedicated to Big Hero 6. The resort has also had a Pixar Fest in the past (although it doesn’t look like it’s happening this year). There’s even a hotel THEMED to Pixar, Pixar Place Hotel. Well, if you need even MORE Pixar in your life, Pixar Place Hotel is now offering Pixar Putt, a pop-up Pixar mini golf course.
You’ll find Pixar Putt on the first floor of the Pixar Place Hotel in the convention center area. It’s open from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM every day with tee times being every 30 minutes. It’s basically a pop-up miniature golf course with a Pixar theme. Fun, right? Note that this is a limited time offering and it will run through June 1st.
Pixar Putt has actually been traveling the country and has finally made its way to the Pixar Place Hotel. This activity could be part of a full-day experience where you come to play mini golf and then enjoy some of the restaurants at the Pixar Place Hotel. On the weekends, you can even head up to the pool deck to watch the Disneyland fireworks. Note that parking is only validated for three hours, though.
You’ll find holes dedicated to some of your favorite Pixar movies, including Elemental…
…Turning Red…
…WALL-E…
…Inside Out 2..
…The Incredibles…
…Coco…and more!
Booking is available online via the Pixar Putt website or in person — however, online booking is highly encouraged. Tickets range between $28 to $33 depending on the day. You will pay an additional $2 service fee for booking online.
Magic Key Holders and hotel guests can get discounted tickets. DVC members can also stop by the DVC desk in the Pixar Place Hotel for a special golf ball.
The winner gets a coupon for a free Hole in One Donut — also if you play the course, you can get EXCLUSIVE food at both Sketch Pad Cafe and Great Maple. When Small Bytes reopens on March 28th, it will have a special “Par-tee” menu.
If you’ll be visiting Disneyland between now and June 1st, you should check it out — it’s a fun way to do something outside of the parks that’s still very much Disney…or in this case, Pixar.
Stay tuned to DFB for more.

We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Today, we were invited by Disneyland to attend their media preview of Pixar Putt. Note that when we attend events as media we are 1) Not required to review that event/food on any of our channels, and 2) Not required to review that event/food favorably. You can always count on DFB to give you a 100% unbiased and honest review of any event that we attend, food that we eat, or beverage that we drink. You can see more in our Disclosure Policy.
