A NEW Universal After Hours Event Kicks Off SOON and Tickets Are On Sale NOW!

A brand-new experience is coming to Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay water park!

For the first time ever, the acclaimed park will be open on select nights during select Saturday nights in April and May. According to Universal, this “all-new, limited-capacity event allows guests to enjoy their favorite water attractions, live entertainment, DreamWorks character meet and greets, complimentary island treats and more at the lush, tropical oasis,” and tickets are on sale now!

These nighttime events will be staged on April 12th and 26th, as well as on May 3rd, 10th, and 17th. Tickets are on sale now and start at $99 per person (plus tax), including parking. Universal Passholders can purchase with a 10% discount. The events begin at 7:00 PM, and ticket holders for the party can begin entering the park at 4 PM.

Some of the offerings available during these nighttime events include:

Lower wait times for well-known slides and rides including Krakatau Aqua Coaster, Ko’okiri Body Plunge, and Kala and Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides.
Meet and greets with a litany of DreamWorks characters including Shrek, Fiona, Puss in Boots, and Kitty Soft Paws from the Shrek franchise, King Julien and Alex from Madagascar, Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond from Trolls, and more.
A DJ, dancing, and activities on the park’s Waturi Beach.
Included snack offerings like Spicy Island Shrimp and Cheesy Cliffside Seashell Pasta as well as a complimentary Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup with which guests “can enjoy more than 100 drink choices and refills throughout the event with Coca-Cola beverages.” In addition, other specialty food and drink items will be available for purchase at Kohola Reef Restaurant and Social Club, Dancing Dragons Boat Bar, and Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona.
Private cabanas can be purchased for the event on a first-come, first-served basis and can only be booked in person at the park’s concierge huts on the day of the event. They cost $249.99.
